A fantastic Japanese restaurant tucked away in a strip mall! A varying menu that offers your standard affair but also included delicacies not typically found (like fresh sockeye!). Service was excellent and there’s plenty of parking.

This place is awesome. We drive from the northwest to dine on or take out (we like it that much). The sushi, the staff, the atmosphere always exceed my expectations. There are truly gluten-free options and they are very responsive to making sure your meal is gluten-free. From the combinations to the presentation of the food it is an experience worth taking the time for. I included a video of the Sweet potato Panna cotta, it is amazing.

I love this place. I usually order out which is fantastic. First time eating in and the food was as good and fresh as always. The staff are very friendly and happy. Cute little spot. Amazing sushi both in and out of the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Great sushi. We decided last minute we would like some sushi for dinner. Stopped in ordered a takeout a the desk. Had our order ready in about 10 minutes. Had a wonderful chat with the host. All round pleasurable experience. We have order sushi from here numerous times it has always been good.

This was our first time here and it was excellent. The sashimi is cut thick and the nigiri and oshi are amazing! Great presentation of everything. Friendly and helpful staff. A little noisy but you can still have a conversation. We'll definitely be coming back.

I recently enjoyed a stunning sushi experience here where each bite offered a perfect blend of fresh fish and expertly seasoned rice. The vibrant presentation and delicate flavors made it a feast for both the eyes and the palate. It was a truly exceptional experience.

Big Catch has a really special place in my heart. I discovered this restaurant 2018 and have come back numerous times to bring friends, relatives, and for celebrations. The quality of the raw fish is always on point, the aburi style sushi is beautifully arranged, presented, and taste amazing. This was the first restaurant I'd seen use edible flowers to enhance their presentation. I last visited on my birthday this year and they came out with a dessert and a little card which I thought was so sweet. The owner and the servers really care about their customers. Because it is pricey I try to reserve it for celebrations or when friends from our of town visit, but food-wise I am never disappointed. I've always said Big Catch is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Calgary and I don't think that will ever change. Proud to have a Big Catch bias (:

The Sushi was very good. It was authentic Sushi. They didn’t overload the Sushi with sauces like other places need to. The fish was delicious on its own. Everything was displayed beautifully. The portions were a bit small and we left hungry.
